A recent review from Indianapolis’ NUVO says “Get Up (And Shout)!” “…retains The Floozies’ hosanna trademarks: mirthful, busker spirit and spiritual, allusive lyrics, to name two. Likewise, guitarist Joey Welch’s piano-style approach to his instrument is still intact, as is the itinerant horn section.”

Joey Welch’s music has been embraced by CMJ, PASTE Magazine and NYCs Big Takeover Magazine. He’s been featured on the BBC. Welch developed his aggressive and unique guitar style busking the streets of four continents, playing the guitar like a piano using both hands on the fret board. Welch has toured the U.S. playing 200 - 260 shows a year. Welch fronts the group Born Again Floozies: A voluptuously surreal performance: the rhythm section is two tap dancers and a tuba, the singer plays guitar the way most people play the piano.

Critics’ responses to Born Again Floozies’ music:

“Fantastic!” Simon Mayo, BBC Radio 6

“Joey Welch delivers the goods, to a such degree that he’s vaulted himself into the highest tier of songwriters in today’s music scene. ” - The Armchair Critic

“Off the hook.” Steve Albini

Jane Jensen

IMdB article: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0421496/

Jane Jensen’s debut CD “Comic Book Whore” was embraced by CMJ, NY Press and Spin Magazine. She signed with Interscope Records for this release but chose the independent route for her follow-up CD which was released on her own label Autozen and won 2004 Just Plain Folks Best Alternative Album. Jensen has also contributed to numerous film soundtracks: Slither, The Crow: Salvation, Tromeo and Juliet, Citizen Toxie and The Toxic Avenger IV. Her latest full-length release through Indie 500 Records “My Rockabye” is a musical thrill ride through domestic bliss and has already been recognized by Unisong International for excellence in songwriting. Jane is currently working on a compilation of singles & collaborations.

ESW

ESW is a collage of strange seduction and synthesized mayhem. Elements of reggae, disco and even some drum and bass all rear in protest of musical linearity. Josh Silbert (saxophones), Adam White (percussion) and Matt Wilson (bass) are contortionists in the world of music. Before becoming the frontmen of ESW, an experimental trio with a revolving third man, they ran the gamut of local bands only to find each other. From Silbert’s bachelor’s degree in music to his and Wilson’s music and performance in legendary ska band Johnny Socko, to White’s recording projects with bands like Wonderdrug, the duo have combined musical talents to create a wondrous, warped sound.

Fabien Martorell

IMdB article: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1926494/bio

Fabien Martorell was born on July 10th, 1972 in France. His professional work in film began in 1994 when he co-wrote, directed and produced his first short film The Track. He had a standing ovation for this film at the “Cannes Film Festival”. He has since written, directed and produced 6 other short films: Lilith (Pilot), Susan Loves Lobsters, Memories of a Dagger, The Nightmare of Narciss(e), La Luna, and The Hand. His short films have been selected and screened at prestigious International Film Festivals; in locations such as Cannes, Clermont-Ferrand, Barcelona, Oberhausen, London, Tokyo…

Fabien arrived in Los Angeles December 2007. He immediately started the shooting of his feature-length documentary Tromatized, Meet Lloyd Kaufman about the famous independent NYC film producer Lloyd Kaufman (Troma Entertainment, Inc.), also starring Stan Lee, Roger Corman, John Badham, Steven Paul, Marc Damon, James Gunn, Tiffany Shepis and Edouard Baer. This film was selected at the “Hollywood Film Festival” 10 months later.

Fabien has written and directed two feature-length screenplays. The first, Lilith, is a stylish psychological drama/thriller in the vein of Se7en, Angel Heart and Dracula. Sean Gullette, the writer and star of Darren Aronofsky’s PI, is expected to play the lead. The second, The Man Behind You (from a synopsis written by Fritz Lang in 1934), is a dark stylish movie in the tradition of Fight Club and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
